Sponsored Abseil down the National Lift Tower (formerly known as the Express Lift Tower) 16th July 2011
This event was a great success! Despite a deluge of rain, the abseilers, some of them first-timers, rose to this extreme challenge! The abseil, believed to be the highest abseil in Europe, the 3rd highest in the world, and the tallest tower abseil in the world, was a terrifying ordeal for some, yet everyone achieved it, and nearly everyone did it SOLO! Some had even wanted to go down forwards but sadly the heavy rain meant this could not be allowed. For more info on the Tower, including details of its height see www.nationallifttower.co.uk/
One of the abseilers was Bernie, the Saints Mascot, who was a real hit with the crowd, especially the children!

C2C Prison Break! (Date to be announced soon)
We are planning a sponsored "Prison Break"! This fun event will be announced soon. The event involves all participants starting off at the same location, and the aim is to get as far away as possible from that point, without using any money (doing it legally of course!) as if they had just broken out of prison. Participants can ask for sponsorship per mile, or at a fixed rate. Would you be able to get away the furthest?! Watch this space for details; contact us if you are interested in taking part.
