C2C has really helped me, I met Suzy during one of the lowest points of my life . Suzy has helped me stay on track supporting me during my prison sentence and continuing to do so on my release. When I had no family 2 call on in my hour of need C2C have been there, they don't judge or preach just offer friendly support. I'm sure this support has played a large part in keeping me on the right path. C2C have given me more emotional and practical support than I'd been used to getting . They genuinely care :-)
Custody Carers - Campbell Square Police Station
* C2C made a very traumatic experience in custody bearable for me, as my coping capability was non existence whilst in the cells. It was an unfamiliar setting and one I hope never to experience again but with Jane's support, she helped keep my anxiety condition to a level that was helpful mentally to me. C2C understand that everyone needs support and help, they see the good in people who have been written off by others, due to life circumstances. My own experience has been that Jane and Suzy have restored my self belief in my own capabilities, and helped to refocus and find my own path in life. After my experience in custody I was left feeling very worthless and let down but with Jane's kind support and encouragement, I have found my wings to explore different areas of life. Without her I would have retreated into my shell and become withdrawn. C2C help others find there wings when they fall and lift them up to believe in themselves.
* I find the services very helpful, supportive and wish to assist in anyway possible to support the charity and allow the charity to help more people in the same way. C2C does a fabulous job and I would like to say a big thank you to Suzy and the organisation for all your help and support given to my family and I.

* I really appreciate Suzy & Jane visiting me in prison, they have been very supportive & are good at what they do.
COACH Mentoring
* The support given by Suzy to my daughter and myself has been invaluable. Not sure what I would have done without it.
* I have found C2C so so helpful. Such lovely caring people and genuinely take an interest in your well being. And treat you like a human being and that we all make mistakes. Not sure where I would be without C2C.
* I was totally lost and really didn’t know what to do for the best for my daughter (S) anymore or who to turn to. I had tried the strict route, and the gentle route, but nothing seemed to work, she was stealing taking drugs, going missing every weekend and getting into strangers cars, but I couldn’t do anything to stop this, we were constantly fighting and arguing - it was like she wasn’t my daughter and I just couldn’t cope any more.
I am a single parent that works in London and could not talk to anyone about what I was going through and just as I was giving up hope and thought I had lost my daughter forever , C2C came along. I met Amanda who was absolutely amazing, she was only a phone call away and Amanda would talk to ‘S’ and myself and advised both of us on how to communicate with each other, and to remember the things we used to do when we did used to spend time together. She even spoke to her father who had stopped seeing ‘S’ and advised him about the importance of him being in her life. It was just having someone who pops round for a chat, who is at the end of the phone that made all the difference to my daughter & I.
It has been three months since we met Amanda and since then ‘S’ no longer takes drugs, steals or goes missing - our relationship is so much better. Only this morning she said to me “Mum you are the perfect mother, except for you go over the top with the cleaning”.
I know she’s not perfect but now she is just a normal teenager and I’m a normal mother - yes we still argue about her cleaning her room and tidying up, but at least I am now sleeping at night knowing that my daughter is safe.
She also sees her farther on a more regular basis and I know feel that my daughter has the hope of a bright future and without C2C and especially Amanda I didn’t have this.
I would like to thank you for helping us out, I will never forget what you have done.
Pamper Sessions - Streetchurch
* I feel brand new - thank you so much for washing my hair
* Please let me know if I can help C2C with anything, I cant believe the love & kindness that has been shown to me for free.
Cut-It-Out - School talks funded by The Home Office
* The learners involved in the talk said that they could relate to it and it inspired them not to get involved in crime. Most learners said that they would like to hear more talks on the subject. The tutor in the session reported that it was very well presented! Thank you so much for coming in!
* Many thanks for your work this morning. The subject and content was entirely relevant to our pupils experiences and they were clearly engaged by what you had to say. It is always fantastic for someone to be able to say to our pupils I have been where you are and relate to their experiences and yet show that there is hope for them. We would certainly hope to invite you back in the future when we have new pupils in the school.
